Airport Manager
The purpose of this position is to safely, efficiently, and effectively manage the day to day operations of the Pekin Municipal Airport under the direction of the Public Works Director in accordance and compliance with the federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in aviation management or related field; two to three years experience in an airport setting preferred. Private pilot certificate preferred.
This position works closely with IDOT Division of Aeronautics to coordinate projects and grants.
Manage the airport facility, including the terminal building from 8-5 MF.
Assist pilots with fueling operations.
Serve as the secretary for the Airport Advisory Commission.
Prepare variety of statistical and narrative reports for department operations.
Other various duties as assigned.
