Network Administrator

The City of Pekin is accepting resumes and letters of interest for a knowledgeable, innovative and well rounded Network Administrator in its 2 person Information Technology Department. The City of Pekin has an extensive LAN which includes networks for finance, police and other departments. It also maintains a robust WAN providing access to fire and other departments.  The IT department has several projects underway, including Windows 10 deployment, SharePoint, CISCO UCS, several network technology upgrades and software upgrades for finance, public works, and planning departments. It is important that the next Network Administrator understands the future needs of the department and the City, which are leading edge and moving to cloud based environments whenever possible.
