Permit Technician

The City of Pekin is currently accepting applications for a Permit Technician with the Building & Inspections Division who will report to the Chief Building Official. This position is responsible for providing customer service by processing permit applications, contractor licensing and scheduling building inspections. The Permit Technician is also responsible for scheduling building inspections and maintaining the building safety database. The salary for this position is $25.13 per hour. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
