The City of Pekin is unique in that it has historically provided school bussing services for its area school districts and their 3000+ students. The mission of the School Bus Department is to transport students to and from school in a safe, responsible and professional manner. The Director of the City's School Bus Department provides the strategic and operational leadership to meet the mission of the department.
Upcoming opportunities for a new School Bus Department Director include the following:

• Maintaining bussing standards, procedures, trainings or other requirements
